Never would have known...

Would you have guessed that in the midst of these great photos we had: A complete vomitting of an entire bottle of formula on a new outfit. A melt down by a two year old that did not want anyone touching her sister Anna. And a mom who was swetting buckets because she wanted her perfect photo session to be perfect...and it was not. It consisted of a disrobed one month old, a two year old that did "drive by" kisses on the forehead and a mom who had to keep her arms down to hide the sweat rings...but look how pretty!

Life is good

I am really enjoying my time as a mom. It is such a blessing to be able to stay at home and watch them grow. I would not have it any other way.

My girls

I love being a mom to two girls. But I had no idea it would be this hard. With my 2 year old no longing taking naps, sleep is a precious thing right now. Anna is a sweetie, so it makes it a little easier. Making myself take my time and enjoy all of this, for I know it will pass way too quickly!

I am an Aunt Again

I am so excited, my sister Julie is a MOM! She had her little girl on August 29. I will not get to see her until Christmas. But I am so happy she is in this world. Julie is already in love and enjoying having her in her arms. Motherhood is amaazing!

Finally Here!

We had such a great delivery. Hard and fast again. But it was so amazing to suddenly be able to hold her in my arms. She is sweet and so happy. Elizabeth loves her little sister. And I am so happy with my recovery and being home. God has been glorified here. He has really taken care of us and given us so much to be joyful over.

Anna's Room

Now if you ever saw Elizabeth's room, you know that Anna had to have a "different" room as well! Anna's is vintage Raggedy Ann and Andy!

Passing the time

So I have had a sort of game plan as to how to get this kid to come into our world. AS I check them off the list I get a few more contractions every day! This week I went into the Florida heat and gave it my best shot with my friend Gina at the Jr. Museum. That was fun. My friend Laurie walked me around my neighborhood a zillion times and that was fun too... Today, I went for a massage! That was awesome. We have a few more things to do this weekend, and hopefully my next post really will be about Anna and her birth!
