Joshua-So sick Jehovah Jirah- So Amazing
Update from Nadene: Get your knees dirty!
Joshua Had No Surgery Today But Unfortunately He Needs More Chemo
Posted 21 hours ago
Thank God, yesterday we got into Ronald Mc Donald House up here in Cincinnati, OH & we'll be staying until Tuesday because Joshua needs a GFR-nuclear test on Monday which lasts several hours.
Joshua didn't have surgery today because no matter how great he is doing on the outside, his lungs on the inside are not so good. His cancer has spread to other areas of his lungs, which explains why his AFP-tumor marker-continues to climb. Last count it was 324, which by no means has waivered my faith in Joshi's healing, especially when I know he primatively started @ a whopping 733,000.
We met with Dr. Geller this PM, and he informed us that Joshua would possibly be starting a different chemo regimine called I.C.E.--which is hard hitting and includes-- (Ifosfamide, Carboplatin, & Etoposide). The great news is that Joshua will be able to to take this at T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital but only as an inpatient basis over the course of a month. Prayerfully if Joshua responds after 2 cycles=2months, he may come back here to Cincinnati Children's Hospital for a bone marrow harvesting, which is very painful and can take four days. Please pray for him and for us not to lose faith in God's healing touch. By the way, we love you but never forget God loves you more!

She's Dancing with Jesus
Aunt Ann met the Savior she has loved for her life today. Sad for those she left behind, but knowing that she has just discovered unspeakable joy.

Come on down, it's warm in Florida!
That's what I told Tracy. She asked me how to dress her family..did I check the weather? NO! I told her it was hot down here. This is us- FREEZING- at the Havana Pumpkin Festival last Saturday. Look at poor Anna all wrapped up in her daddy's shirt. Needless to say, we did not stay long. I did really enjoy the cold...I am ready for winter!

Missed me?
Here is where I have been for the past few days. My dear friend Tracy and her family came to visit with us for a few days and we had such a great time. On Saturday, Tracy went with me to celebrate the birth of Aiden. Congrats to Mesa!
Saturday night the boys hung out with the guys and the girls went to the park. It was nice and cold here in Tally and we thought it was perfect weather. the Kagay family did not agree!
On Sunday, they had some family time and these are a few of my favorite pics they took at the car museum. I think Mike likes that car, what do you think?

On Monday it was Wakulla Springs and St. George. We have some great beach pics and maybe I will put those up later. I have a great few days, just wanted to share what we have been up to...now back to life! Thanks for the Break Kagays!

Better late than never
I wanted to get this up sooner, but by the last post, you all know that I have been a little "out of it". Hard week. I wanted to share my photos from Memphis' b-day. It was great to see Gina, I miss her a ton! We had a great time and the kids enjoyed seeing each other again!

Parenting is so hard..
...and I am so tired. This is such a hard stage, and I don't want to give up. Today I am quiet in the Lord's presence, asking hime to give me wisdom. I know many of you have been there.

Joshua is at the end of this clip, his 3 words are "Cancer Fears Me".
UPDATE FROM NADENE-
Joshua & Our Family Really Need Your Prayer
Posted 17 hours ago
Sorry I've not entered any updates because of computer troubles, and this past few weeks have really been tough for our family. We found out that my mother-in-law's heart has been out of rythym and that she also has breast cancer. Beyond that, I just found out today that Joshua's AFP (Alpha-feta Protein AKA Tumor Marker) went back up and now reads 193, which is a far cry from the 65 it was just a few weeks ago. We really could use your prayers to our LORD, JEHOVAH RAPHA!

Loss and Life
As one dear friends welcomes her first son into the world, another friend is right now saying goodbye to her mom. Our Aunt Ann lies in a hospital with doctors saying she only has days to live and with all three of these I say...How Awesome is our God! With Loss and Life both, we can rejoice. With the joy of raising a son to know the sweet Savior and the Hope of knowing these women of God will go into an eternity, ready to worship the Eternal God, how can we do anything but worship and rejoice?
Loss and Life both pivot on one thing, the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Complete.
