Shop and Give at the same time

We sell all sorts of cute stuff! We even have a Thermal Tote sale going on.
Why am I telling you this? I am doing a fundraiser to help with Isaac's Playground. You can learn about him by checking out the link to your right called "He Will Carry Me". A good size portion of all of my sales are going to be donated to the Church his family attends, for a playground in his name. You need to place your order by the last day of January. I have been doing this all month and have a goal of giving him $100...
So shop for mom, daughters, teachers, pastor's wives, mother n laws or yourself! Don't let me down!

I am sorry you lost your daddy today, but I know for a fact you would not bring him back if you could...
My father closed his eyes today
and opened them in Glory.
If I could hold his hand right now,
he'd walk and tell me a story.
A story of how faith becomes sight,
and loved ones stand to greet you
How everything that grew old,
is suddenly made new.
He'd walk a little ahead of me,
for suddenly he's much faster.
Like a kid on Christmas morn'
He'd run to meet the Master.
"Hurry up", he'd call back,
"I can't wait for you to meet Him!"
I'd realize he finished a race,
that everyone can win.
Standing back, taking my time,
to drink in every moment.
Understanding this is it,
the blessing of Atonement.
Calling out, I would say,
"Daddy, I must go."
But he would not hear my voice,
for he'd be singing at the throne.
My Father closed his eyes today,
and opened them in Glory.
Since he would not come back now,
then I'll tell you his story.

Christmas 2008
Christmas at my sister's house in Chattanooga was really nice. It was fun to get to see my family and hold my neice Sydney for the first time. We have some fun memories and will look forward to the next time our family can get together.

Our Family at Christmas
It was nice to get to spend this past Christmas with my family. We spent Christmas Eve, day and a couple days after in Chattanooga with my sister. Then we all headed up to NC and spent a few days at the cabin to relax, eat too much, watch football and play games. It was great to meet my sister Julie's baby for the first time. My dad had not seen Elizabeth in over a year. Our Aunt and Uncle came with our cousin and we were able to get caught up with a lot of family members. Now we are on to a very happy new Year!

Pray
Friday is a hard day for a friend of mine. I hope you will pray for Stacey. Her son Weston would have been 5 years old. So pray for her as she prepares for the arrival of her first son and continues to let come to terms with her loss. A mother never forgets. You can see her blog on the right.

Good News Club
Well, after a little break. I am back to the Good News Clubs tomorrow. I am excited to be working with my own church's club for the first time in over a year. I love our clubs and hope you will pray for the ministry this year. WE don't know how long our window into public schools will be open. We need to take advantage of this harvest while we can.
